JDL Supports LifeNet4Families

Through Serve and Service a Day of Caring

As part of its commitment to the local community, JDL Technologies has joined in support of LifeNet4Families with its Corporate Day of Caring. This program allows socially conscious businesses and LifeNet4Families to work together to address two major concerns in Broward County; hunger and homelessness.

On September 28th, JDL’s team volunteered through a day of hands-on service. The team’s responsibilities included working in the kitchen with meal preparation, serving, stocking food, food box preparation, and clean-up.  With JDL’s donation and volunteer time, nearly 200 homeless individuals and over 150 local, Broward families were fed.

“We can’t thank our volunteers enough for strengthening the impact that LifeNet4Families has on our community.  365 days a year, we serve 300-500 nutritious meals to people who otherwise might go without,” commented Chris Polzer, Director of Operations at LifeNet4Families. “We are only a staff of  18 people, and we could never have had the positive impact on Broward’s poor and homeless for the past 25 year without dedicated and caring support of our many volunteers, such as those from JDL Technologies,” Polzer said.

JDL Technologies and its team are happy to play an important role in the difference that LifeNet4Families is making for local families and individuals.
